GREENVILLE – Anna-Lynn Clark struck out 13 of the 18 batters she faced from Lake Mary, Florida, (Southeast) as North Carolina claimed a 5-1 victory in the winner’s bracket of the Little League Softball World Series on Thursday.

North Carolina, represented by Johnston County’s 12U All-Stars, trailed 1-0 when it came to bat in the bottom of the fifth, before plating five runs on five hits and four Southeast errors to grab a lead it wouldn’t relinquish.

North Carolina advances to the Purple Bracket Championship on Saturday at 6 against either Southeast or Northwest (Snohomish, Washington).
