NCHSAA releases women’s dual team tennis playoff brackets

The North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) released its Dual Team Women’s Tennis Playoff brackets this afternoon.

Here are the local teams’ postseason fates:

2A

North Johnston drew the No. 10 seed and has a first-round bye. It will host either West Bladen or Farmville Central in round two.

3A

South Johnston earned the No. 17 seed and will make the short trip to Triton for a first-round matchup. West Johnston is the No. 20 seed, and will visit West Carteret. Smithfield-Selma grabbed one of the final playoff spots as the No. 31 seed, and will play at fellow Quad County 3A member Fike.

4A

Clayton is the No. 5 seed and will host Holly Springs, Corinth Holders is the No. 15 seed and will host Green Level and Cleveland, the 30th overall seed, will play at Broughton.
