With Princeton and Cleveland falling out of the 2A and 4A NCHSAA Volleyball Playoffs, respectively, fall sports came just a bit closer to its conclusion over the weekend. Here’s a look at the week ahead:
clayton vs. cleveland
It’s Clayton/Cleveland week, and the stakes could not be higher. We’ll break it down later in the week, but needless to say, all of the marbles are up for grabs in this one.
I won’t be there, though. Mainly because, at last report, five other broadcast crews will be on hand at Cleveland High (CRN, JOCO Radio, Curtis, HighSchoolOT and WRDC). So, I’ll bring the iPad, tune in to one of the video streams and call North Johnston at Princeton, which is pretty impactful in its own right.
I want to cover the most Johnston County athletes I can, so in the words of the Mandalorian, “this is the way.”
