The North Carolina High School Athletic Association released its prep baseball and softball pairings today, and a few Johnston County schools will be taking part in the fun.

Softball

North Johnston, South Johnston, West Johnston, Clayton, Corinth Holders and Cleveland all punched tickets to the dance, so to speak. Here’s a look at the matchups for those schools, and first round games are set for Tuesday, May 7.:

Baseball

Princeton, North Johnston, West Johnston, South Johnston, Clayton and Corinth Holders made the baseball field, with Cleveland being among the first teams out of the 4A bracket, according to our friends at HighSchool OT.
