Yeah, it’s August 12. Some of you haven’t done your back to school shopping yet, but that fact doesn’t change the other one that today brings — which is the start of the fall sports calendar for Johnston County high schools.
Of course, it’s raining. Because that’s what it does here. But, weather permitting, we’ve got a busy day and week ahead.
Note that South Johnston’s field conditions (rain stuff) have moved that Monday soccer match with Neuse Charter to Sept. 9.
