Corinth Holders put the finishing touches on a two-game sweep in the 8A Eastern Baseball Regionals Wednesday with an 8-5 win at Leesville Road. That win, combined with a 2-1 triumph on Tuesday in Wendell, clinched a state championship series for the Pirates (22-5).

They await the winner of the Providence/Myers Park series. Providence leads the series 1-0, and will look to win it tonight at Myers Park in Game 2.
